4 activewear brands I'm crushing on
Updated: Mar 1, 2020
I've been crushing harrrrd on Outdoor Voices for a couple months now, and I'm not really sure why I slept on this brand until recently! This brand believes in the power of #DoingThings and all of their styles are adorable and relatively inexpensive (in comparison to cult-favorite, Lululemon).
Not only does Outdoor Voices have the cutest wear-everyday pieces ranging from leggings to sweats to dresses, but the brand also gives you the ability to mix + match tops and bottoms in an "OV Kit" at a cheaper price. Whether you need a new fit for yoga or a sweat-proof look for Orangetheory, Outdoor Voices is a one-stop shop for all your trendy athletic wear needs.

Selling fancier, primarily high-end styles, Carbon38 has the sleekest looks and tons of pieces you'd see on Instagram fitness influencers. Although the brand has its own line, the site also offers other brands like Nike, Alo Yoga and Beyond Yoga.
Carbon38 specializes in trendy athleisure with tie-dye and metallic animal prints, among many other designs. Their pieces are totally something you'd see on an effortless New Yorker on their way out of a SoulCycle class — a vibe I wouldn't mind radiating.

Basically the polar opposite of Carbon38, Spiritual Gangster specializes in beachy pieces perfect for your next yoga flow. This brand's "thing" is soft materials and inspirational sayings plastered on tanks, sweaters, hats and more, and I'm here for it.
The best thing about Spiritual Gangster is its initiative to give back — for every item sold, a meal is given to a person in need. These pieces are by no means cheap, but knowing that you're supporting the brand's philanthropic mission makes making a purchase a lot easier.

With Bandier you find the perfect balance between Carbon38 and Spiritual Gangster. Bandier, like Carbon38, offers different brands on its site but a significantly greater selection. You can find sweet, soft leggings for yoga and shiny, fashion-forward two-piece sets for everyday lounging.
Bandier's accessories are also on point, featuring a perfectly curated shoe selection with popular brands like Nike and Adidas.
