my 3 most worth-it (& practical) splurges

As much as I would love to buy expensive items on a daily basis, I'm not financially stable enough to do so — maybe one day! For now, I make sure to spend a lot of time thinking about what I want to spend my money on and nearly every purchase is carefully calculated.

Everyone deserves a good splurge purchase every now and then, and I have been able to find some really great worth-it splurges that have actually made a difference in my life.

Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Perfume

I wear this perfume every day! I think it smells amazing and everyone always affirms that by telling me how great I smell! Although it's on the pricier side, I've found that it takes about 1 year (depending on how much you use regularly) to finish off one bottle. This perfume has such a classic scent that I find so hard to resist squirting on every inch of my body! I'm already on my third bottle and it will take a truly delicious smelling perfume for me to every make the switch.

NIGHT Pillow

I've struggled with terrible sleep patterns, insomnia and neck problems for years and this pillow is literally life changing. A great pillow is absolutely crucial to your quality of life, and the NIGHT pillow is more than great. I was skeptical about spending so much money on a pillow, but the 101 day no-risk trial period was what ultimately sold me. It was really good to know I could get my money back if I absolutely hated it. After that first night, I can never turn back. The pillow I purchased is called the BEAUTY PILLOW – 4 WAYS and it is absolutely amazing. There's one traditional side to the pillow and another "scooped" side perfect for people who sleep on their back or side like I do. The pillow case that came with it has a silk side and a bamboo side, but I like to use the silk side because it's good for acne prevention and keeping your hair smooth while you sleep.

Statement Mirror

My full length statement mirror is an absolute décor staple and works in so many different rooms. In the past, I've had it in my bedroom both at home and at school, and now it's in the living room at my apartment. I got it at HomeGoods yeaaars ago for $99 and it's safe to say it's one of my most prized possessions. Large statement mirrors like mine are really worth the price point because they can pull a room together and also add the illusion of height to the room if the ceilings are lower than average.
