This spring break my boyfriend Evan and I flew down to his hometown of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. PV Beach is one of my favorite places to go because of the (usually) warm weather, beautiful beaches, delicious food options and shopping!
Ponte Vedra is in the Jacksonville area of North Florida and it's a quick flight from the DC area, which we usually fly out of. We spent the week working out, enjoying homemade meals by Evan's mom, eating out at our favorite local restaurants and shopping at the Saint John's Town Centre. Evan's house is literally two minutes from the water so we were able to spend some time in the sun and go biking on beach!
At the Town Centre I picked up the shoes I'm wearing in the picture above. They're super comfortable, trendy and inexpensive! They're Topshop's "Candy Platform Sneaker" in Nude Multi. I also did a little shopping at Nordstrom Rack and picked up a pair of gray lounge joggers with black stars. They're so soft on the inside and were inexpensive as well, but unfortunately I can't find them online. I've recently become obsessed with the trend of wearing a scarf in your hair in place of a hair tie, but hadn't been able to find one I loved. I found the "Songbird Printed Bandana" at Free People and bought it in the color Rose Combo and I can't wait to wear it!
I love vacationing in Ponte Vedra Beach because it's my home away from home! My spring break involved a lot less partying in Mexico and a lot more relaxing, eating healthy and enjoying fresh ocean air — which is just the way I like it!
